which stands for “Project Carasig: May 12”, is a benefit gig for the Carasig family who were involved in a car-train collision in Candelaria, Quezon last may 3, where they lost 3 member of the family. Right now we need all the financial help we can get to help them with theeir medical expenses, especially for CHESCA and GAB CARASIG. And what better way to do it than a music gathering, right? So shell out, help out and that in all things, God may be glorified!

You ever been to a situation where you’re misquoted or used by someone so boost their own ego trip? Or in need to garner friends to agree with you just so you can say to yourself that you did the right thing? Have you ever felt like lying to yourself at night of the decisions you made so you can just sleep peacefully to bed? Do you ever try to check your resolve on things that you might just being bias and unfair. And if you do, how’d you do it to not feeling guilty about it?

Envy (also called invidiousness) is best defined as an emotion that “occurs when a person lacks another’s (perceived) superior quality, achievement, or possession and either desires it or wishes that the other lacked it.”

Envy can also derive from a sense of low self-esteem that results from an upward social comparison threatening a person’s self-image: another person has something that the envier considers to be important to have. If the other person is perceived to be similar to the envier, the aroused envy will be particularly intense, because it signals to the envier that it just as well could have been he or she who had the desired object.

Bertrand Rusell said envy was one of the most potent causes of unhappiness. It is a universal and most unfortunate aspect of human nature because not only is the envious person rendered unhappy by his envy, but also wishes to inflict misfortune on others. Although envy is generally seen as something negative, Russell also believed that envy was a driving force behind the movement towards democracy and must be endured to achieve a more just social system. However, psychologists have recently suggested that there may be two types of envy: malicious envy and benign envy – benign envy being proposed as a type of positive motivational force.

Merry Meet!

I am not a full pledged Wiccan or whateve beliefs you might think I belong to. I believe that spiritual path should be personal and not something to be quarrel with other people of because no matter how we argue about it we are all under the Divine. Yes! I am not an atheist. Hehehe. I believe in the Divine, God or Goddess, doesn’t really needed to be categorized in a single perception. I mean, God can be depicted as whoever or whatever he wanted to be (I mean, He’s God. Who are we to limit Him?), but I’m used to call him God. (I hope you guys won’t mind) Because of my Catholic background, I look up him as a Father figure.
